Yay! Idiots...I mean "students"
The library is, as usual, full of people not doing what they are supposed to. By that I mean checking Facebook instead of doing homework and making general nuisances of themselves instead of leaving me alone.
It is a step up from the last time I was in here. A week ago a group of guys decided that the middle of the American History section was the "Best place ever for a 'who can kick the highest' competition. " I'll let you guess how that went. I go to the American History section for a reason, no one goes in there. Or at least they didn't for a very long time.
Yesterday Loud, Annoying Girl from Architectural History started talking (loudly) to a guy in the next aisle over. She kept ranting about how California was way better than New York (where I live and go to school) until some guy from the other side of the library yelled that maybe she should move back since we're all fairly certain we could still hear her from there. I want to marry whomever that guy was.
I give people pet names rather than bother to remember their real names:
Loud, Annoying Girl
Creeper
Ms. Sighs-a-lot
PlaysWithHerHair
and Liar Pants (I now know her name is Patty, but she is still Liar Pants because she lied to me about how much Halo she plays.)
I'm not a "people person" which I'm okay with right up until we need a fifth player for an achievement. I'm about ready to break down and send a game invite to my ex because I really, really want those achievements. Also, he's the only person outside of my actual friends that has all the Gears 3 DLC. Which means to keep me from getting frustrated we've been playing a lot of Borderlands.
I've been trying to play more iOS games lately, that aren't Angry Birds/Angry Birds Seasons/ or any other Angry Birds. Mainly because every one of my friends plays Angry Birds and I'm sick of looking at it. I picked up Shadow Cities waaaaaay back when it first released in the States and played pretty actively until, I think, Shadow Universities. It got way too complicated and full of anger. Took it up to Boston for a while and got my butt kicked so I came back to NY and quit.
I reinstalled it a couple of days ago and have been ignoring it all over again. Ahhh, nostalgia.
p.s. It's "Library" not "Liberry"
